High School Sunday
School Class 2007-2008
Mormonism and Christianity -
Compatible or Contradictory?
You should come
to this class only if:
1. You have a family member who is
LDS;
2. You have a friend who is LDS;
3. You have a neighbor who is LDS;
4. You know anyone who is LDS; or
5. You live in Utah (duh!)
This class is not about "bashing,"
rumors, or innuendo.
It is about comparing the actual doctrines and the sources
of those doctrines.
As a guide, the class will read Mormonism 101, by Bill
McKeever and Eric
Johnson, but we will draw on many other sources, including
having guest speakers
who have studied LDS doctrine for decades.
You owe it to your family, friends, neighbors, and yourself
to compare the
teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints ("LDS" or
"Mormon") to that of the historic Trinitarian Christian
Church.
